Terms & Conditions for applicants
In these Terms & Conditions, ‘applicant’ is defined as: “An individual who applies for consideration for the ‘2PM Services scholarship program’ by submitting a written application to express their interest in being considered”.
‘Recipient’ is defined as: “The individual who has been awarded the ‘2PM Services scholarship’”.
‘2PM’ is defined as: “Staff and contractors of 2PM Services”.
2PM Services agrees to pay the course fee for an individual (applicant) to undertake study in the area of Project Management. The nominated course is ‘Project Management Bundle’ offered by the University of Tasmania valued at $597.
2PM Services will not supply or pay for any other required course items, such as books or reading materials (if applicable) or related study materials (wifi, laptop, study location, notebook, etc.).
2PM Services does not offer ongoing employment or contract with the recipient on completion of study.
2PM Services will provide a contact person for the recipient throughout their course of study.
Key dates are:
- Midnight 10 March 2024 applications close
- 18 March 2024 recipient announced
- 1 April 2024 course commencement
- 30 June 2024 final eligible date for course completion
- 1 August 2024 final date for recipient submission of case study received
1. Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have the right to study in Australia.
Applicants must not already be enrolled, or have previously enrolled, in this course.
Applicants must be based in Tasmania, Australia.
Applicants must not be a current or former employee of 2PM Services.
Applicants must not be a current employee at other Tasmanian-based company currently offering Project Management as a service.
Applicant must be available to commence study on the 1st of April 2024.
2. Application Process
All applications must be submitted by midnight 10 March 2024.
Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
Applicants must provide accurate and truthful information. Falsification will result in disqualification.
As a part of the application process, successful applicants will be shortlisted for interview. The applicant must agree to a 15-minute virtual interview between 11 – 15 March 2024 should they be shortlisted.
3. Selection Process
A selection committee will review all eligible applications.
The application must meet the application guidelines as outlined below.
The decision of the selection committee is final.
4. Scholarship Amount and Distribution
The scholarship amount is $597 + GST.
The scholarship will be disbursed as a one-time payment, directly to the educational institution of 2PM Services choice.
The scholarship funds must be used for educational expenses only.
5. Acceptance of Scholarship
Recipients must confirm acceptance of the scholarship within 24 hours of notification.
In accepting the scholarship, the applicant agrees to complete the course within the stipulated timeframe.
Failure to accept within the given timeframe may result in the scholarship being awarded to another candidate.
The recipient understands that no further engagement or employment by 2PM is guaranteed.
The recipient understands that no ongoing partnership with 2PM Services is guaranteed as a result of this program.
6. Use of Funds
Scholarship funds will be used for tuition fees only.
Funds cannot be used for personal expenses unrelated to education.
7. Reporting Requirements
Recipients may be required to provide periodic updates on their academic progress.
Recipients must maintain a pass mark to remain eligible for continued disbursement of funds.
8. Withdrawal or Changes
If a recipient withdraws from the educational program, changes institutions, or fails to meet the scholarship requirements, the scholarship may be revoked. This does not apply to health and emergency situations.
If the recipient fails to maintain a pass mark or complete the course work within the allocated timeframe they may be asked to repay the value of the scholarship to 2PM Services.
Any changes in academic status or institution must be reported promptly to the scholarship provider.
9. Publicity and Promotion
By accepting the scholarship, the recipient grants permission for their name, photo, and basic information to be used for promotional purposes by the scholarship provider. The recipient agrees to participate in marketing and promotion surrounding the scholarship, including but not limited to:
- Inclusion on 2PM Services website
- Inclusion and promotion via 2PM Services social media channels
- Video and photography
- Inclusion in 2PM Services marketing communications, such as company emails
- To complete a Case Study covering their study program for publication via 2PM Services, following completion of their study requirements
10. Amendments to Terms and Conditions
The scholarship provider (2PM Services) reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to applicants and recipients.
Recipients are expected to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
2PM Services and the recipient agree to a respectful and lawful partnership.
12. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from the scholarship will be resolved through negotiation and, if necessary, through mediation or arbitration.
